Haven't been here for a while as they used to close too early for me. Now that they stay open longer I will be here way more often. Best Polish in town...Have had the tuna salad sandwich and loved that too. Can't wait to try the tuna salad salad and egg salad and BLT. Oh my, I wanna go back now! Want to also try the baked goods hear good things about them. Try this place, you'll like it.

I'd love to give this place more than 3 stars, but honestly they're super mediocre. The stars are for the friendly family that runs the place. I paid $7.50 for a tuna melt on super small slices of bread with nothing more than a slice of fake cheese as a topping. I could've spent that much and made a few bomb tuna melts by myself. Or went elsewhere and gotten a decent sandwich with a side included. My coworkers also weren't thrilled with the price versus product on their orders.

I visited them to try the famous acorn bread, and to buy some acorn flour. EVERYONE, I made the most delicious banana muffins with Sue Chin's acorn flour! Message me if you'd like an exact recipe; I just did a variation off her's online (she was interviewed in 2013 for SF Chronicle).
Acorn flour is nutritious, and can be a local-source of flour depending on where you're buying it from...like Hot Dog Depot and Bakery!! -

Had many stops here but forgot to yelp in. Not bad but service can either be fast or slow. Quality is good but no hot sauce for them breakfast burritos or other foods one needs to spice up the flavor.
Overall convenient to the Station and clean establishment. -

I love this place. It is family owned. The owners live there on the sight. It's almost like they are welcoming you into their home, and they'll fix you up something from their kitchen. I went in today, and it was a very nice environment. They had Sotos to drink, along with beer, along with sparkling water, fruit drinks, and sports drinks. Even had cheesecake. Which is the name of the place, I wanted to try their hotdog, but I have asked and was told they had an outstanding homemade veggie burger. So yes, I went to the hot dog Depot for a veggie burger. It was the best veggie burger I've ever had. Very filling, and very healthy. It may seem a little overpriced, but to see that they make it from scratch, was just amazing. I would highly recommend this place, and next I will go in there and try their hotdogs.
